Instagram Reels Comment Viewer
Paste a reel link to watch it next to its comments. Read, search and sort reel comments anonymously, without the Instagram app.
Free plan: 2 comment views and 2 likes views per day. Copy the link from Instagram's share menu, or paste a bare post code.
How it works
- 1
On Instagram, open the reel and tap Share, then Copy link.
- 2
Paste the reel link (instagram.com/reel/...) into the box above.
- 3
Watch the reel and read its comments. Search or sort by most liked.
Read reel comments the easy way
Reel comments are hard to read on a phone: the video keeps looping and the comment sheet covers half the screen. Our reels comment viewer puts the reel and its comments side by side in your browser, so you can scroll through the conversation at your own pace, on desktop or mobile.
Works with every reel link
instagram.com/reel/, /reels/ and /tv/ links all work, as do bare reel codes.
Search reel comments
Filter the loaded comments by keyword or username, with matches highlighted.
Sort by most liked
Jump straight to the top comments on a viral reel instead of scrolling.
See who liked it
Switch to the Likes tab to see which accounts liked the reel.
FAQ
How do I view comments on an Instagram reel without the app?
Open the reel, tap Share, copy the link (it looks like instagram.com/reel/ABC123), and paste it above. The reel plays alongside its comments right in your browser, no app or login needed.
Which reel links work with the reels comment viewer?
It works with any Instagram reel link, including instagram.com/reel/, instagram.com/reels/ and the older instagram.com/tv/ format. You can also paste just the reel code.
Can I search the comments on a reel?
Yes. Once a reel's comments load, type in the search box to filter them by words in the comment or by username. Matches are highlighted, and you can sort by most liked to surface the top comments.
Will the reel creator know I read the comments?
No. Insta Peeka fetches the reel and its comments itself, so you never log in and nothing is tied to your Instagram account. Reading comments never shows up anywhere for the creator.
Can I see comments on reels from private accounts?
No. Only reels from public accounts can be viewed. Private accounts' reels are only visible to their approved followers, and we don't get around that.
